With energy costs skyrocketing over the last few years, there has rightfully been a lot of focus on creating “greener” and more energy efficient facilities in both the public and private sector. Kevin Monsey has been involved in managing over $25 million worth of Photovoltaic Solar installations, lighting upgrades throughout various school districts, boiler and mechanical upgrades, window removal and replacements, insulation additions and overall building efficiency upgrades through numerous methods of controls, natural lighting and use of ground water as a heating/cooling source. Energy usage is always a “must review” when looking at long term operating efficiencies of new or existing facilities. Kevin has worked on energy projects funded by grants, rebates and incentive programs for both the public and private sector.
